Postion - Credit Controller Premium Finance
Location - Brentwood
As a Credit Controller you will manage a sales ledger, minimizing overdue debt and ensuring timely payments to maintain healthy cash flow. Key responsibilities include chasing overdue invoices, setting customer credit limits, negotiating repayment plans, resolving billing disputes, and preparing aged debt reports.
Key Responsibilities:

As a Credit Controller you will manage a sales ledger, minimizing overdue debt and ensuring timely payments to maintain healthy cash flow. Key responsibilities include chasing overdue invoices, setting customer credit limits, negotiating repayment plans, resolving billing disputes, and preparing aged debt reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and actively collect premium payments via telephone, email and text message
- Setting up and servicing clients credit agreements via our 3rd party premium finance provider
- Processing and allocating client payments
- Negotiating and maintaining payment plans
- Query resolution
- Instructing underwriters to cancel premiums for non-payment
- Chasing overdue debt
- Minimum 2 years credit control experience ideally working within the insurance industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Empathetic approach to vulnerable customers
