Interim Credit Controller - 3 Month Contract - ASAP Start Required
Location: Central London (3 days per week in office – Wednesdays mandatory)
Rate: £170–£200 per day (Inside IR35, dependent on experience)
Start Date: 16th March
Contract Length: 3 months
A highly established and well-known technology business is seeking a Credit Controller to join them on a 3-month interim basis. This is an urgent requirement, so applicants must be available to start within the specified timeframe.
You will be responsible for a ledger value of £1m+, managing 700+ accounts, with individual account values ranging from £100 to £20–30k.
Key Responsibilities:
- Chasing debt across accounts in all markets
- Utilising Credit Control tools including telephone calls, emails, reminder letters and statements
- Liaising with Finance, Sales and Account Managers to resolve customer queries and facilitate collection of overdue debts
Skills & Experience Required:
- 2+ years’ experience in Credit Control (within a large or fast-paced organisation preferred)
- Experience managing a high-volume ledger (700+ accounts)
- Comfortable handling high call volumes and proactive debt chasing
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
- Strong attention to detail and confident resolving queries efficiently
- Good understanding of Credit Control and Billing processes
