Eames are exclusively partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed industrials business to appoint a new Part-Time Credit Controller.
This role is 20-25 hours a week, ideally split across 5 days (e.g. 10am-3pm).
Title: Credit Controller (Part-Time)
Location: Redditch, South Birmingham
Work Type: Part-time 5 Days per week (20–25 Hours)
Package: £35,000 (pro rata)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full end-to-end credit control process, maintaining a clean ledger and driving down aged debt.
- Proactively chase outstanding debts via telephone and email, ensuring a professional and commercial approach.
- Partner closely with the Finance lead to provide clear reporting on cash collection and aged debt for PE stakeholders.
- Resolve complex customer queries within a fast-paced, industrial supply chain environment.
- Perform credit checks on new and existing customers, setting and monitoring appropriate credit limits.
- Manage the sales ledger and ensure accurate allocation of daily cash receipts.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record in a Credit Control.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to be firm yet professional with customers.
- Experience working within an industrial or manufacturing business (desirable).
- Highly organized with a proactive approach to problem-solving and query resolution.
- A desire to work a consistent part-time schedule (spread over 5 days).
