The Role: Impact & Ownership
This is a "resilience hire" designed for someone who wants true end-to-end ownership. You will move away from siloed tasks and gain a holistic view of how a lending business actually operates.
- Strategic Ownership: Manage analytical projects from problem definition and data manipulation to delivering actionable insights directly to senior stakeholders.
- Responsible Lending: Conduct affordability assessments and ensure all decisions align with the UK regulatory environment and internal guidelines.
- Data Mastery: Use SAS and Advanced Excel to analyse data products, liaise with Credit Reference Agencies, and inform the broader credit strategy.
- Collaborative Innovation: Work within a flat structure where pragmatic, real-world solutions are valued over "theoretical data dumping."
Candidate Profile
We are targeting "unique thinkers" who are ready to take the next step in their career.
- The Experience: 2–4 years in Credit Risk, Marketing Analytics, or Product Analytics, essentially any commercial role heavily involved with numbers.
- Sector Knowledge: you must have experience in unsecured lending or credit cards within the UK market.
