This exciting opportunity as a Credit Risk Analyst based in Reading or Paddington, you will play a pivotal role in crafting the future of our credit risk strategies. You will be involved in developing and implementing world-class systems and policies to drive our acquisition strategy, ensuring flawless execution and robust monitoring.

You will partner with the Credit Risk System and Strategy Lead to improve the entire strategy. This strategy focuses on accurately decisioning applications across Fixed and O2 Consumer mobile areas. Your tasks include utilising MI and data to drive strategic recommendations or resolving technical issues impacting Credit Risk outcomes and exposure. Additionally, you will work closely with other teams to detail processes that interact with credit risk systems to guarantee accurate outcomes.

The must haves

  • Strong knowledge of credit-related risk and fraud prevention strategies and techniques
  • Supporting the development and improvement of credit risk acquisition strategies.
  • Implementing systems, strategies, and policies to improve acquisition in alignment with business strategies.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Big Query, SAS, or transferrable coding skills, along with MS Office and advanced Excel.
  • Collaborating with analytics and data teams for robust monitoring and understanding the impact of changes made.
  • Ensuring acquisition strategies deliver encouraged results and identifying any implementation or strategy issues.

  • The other stuff we are looking for

    We'd also love you to bring;

    • Familiarity with PowerCurve, Strategy Design Studio or FICO system management
    • Strong knowledge of credit risk and fraud prevention strategies and techniques
    • Experience with Experian, Equifax, or Transunion bureau services across credit decisioning and Fraud behavioral services.
    • Problem-solving ability with strong attention to detail.
    • A challenging and creative approach.
