An opportunity has arisen for an experienced office administrator to be responsible for supporting the Critical Care Operating Unit (OU), CC-COMs and OU Leadership Team across our region.
We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented individual to join our Critical Care Operating Unit (OU) as an Administrative Support Assistant. This role is essential to the efficient functioning of the Critical Care OU and involves various administrative tasks to maintain high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities

- Job type: Secondment
- Part Time 30 hrs per week
- Location: Base station TBC - remote working will be available but ability to travel to various trust sites will be a requirement.
- Salary: Band 4, NHS Agenda for Change, £27,485 - £30,162 Per annum

We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented individual to join our Critical Care Operating Unit (OU) as an Administrative Support Assistant. This role is essential to the efficient functioning of the Critical Care OU and involves various administrative tasks to maintain high operational standards.

- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Critical Care OU Leadership Team, ensuring accurate report compilation from multiple data sources.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of a critical care setting.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to quickly learn new data systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective engagement with managers, staff, and external contacts.
- Highly organised with attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain a courteous, supportive manner under pressure.
- Quick to learn and proactive in supporting both management and operational staff.

Please note that the salary range noted on the vacancy is in line with agenda for change (AFC) pay scales. All successful applicants would be placed automatically at the bottom of the banding, unless proven, relevant NHS or equivalent experience can be demonstrated.

Going forward, for patient facing positions, we strongly recommend that new starters will be appropriately vaccinated unless medically exempt in order to offer greater protection against exposure to the virus for front line staff.
