Customer Service Advisor | Private Patients Team | Permanent | Full-Time | Brentwood

Spire Healthcare’s East London and Essex hub is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor to join our dedicated Private Patients Team. In this pivotal role, you will support self-funding patients from initial enquiry through to consultation, diagnostics, or treatment - ensuring a seamless and positive experience throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to self-pay enquiries via phone and email, offering clear information, practical support, and empathetic guidance.
  • Accurately capture patient details and coordinate appointment bookings to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
  • Drive conversion of enquiries into outpatient appointments or procedures, while tracking and reporting outcomes.
  • Provide timely and accurate procedure pricing, helping patients make informed decisions and enhancing conversion opportunities.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for all self-pay queries internally and for our external customers.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all interactions, ensuring data accuracy and effective lead management.
  • Operate in line with company and hospital policies, maintaining high standards of professionalism and compliance.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a customer service or sales role, managing a high volume of enquiries.
  • Strong numeracy skills with the ability to calculate procedure costs accurately.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and remain composed under pressure.
  • Knowledge of the private healthcare sector is desirable but not essential.

Working Hours

Full-time – 37.5 hours per week: Shifts between 8am-7pm Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as required.
