For our site in Swindon (Wiltshire), we are looking for a Customer Service Manager, a key role responsible for managing technical assistance, installations, maintenance, and post‑sales coordination for ILPRA machinery in the UK market.
Main responsibilities:
- Managing customer requests as the first point of contact for emergencies, breakdowns, installations, and maintenance activities.
- Planning and coordinating machine installations, including verification of technical prerequisites at customer sites.
- Maintaining constant communication with ILPRA headquarters in Italy to obtain technical documentation, specifications, and engineering support.
- Translating customer technical requests into operational tasks for the UK engineering team and monitoring progress.
- Providing first‑level technical support based on mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- Coordinating preventive maintenance activities, collecting data on breakdown trends and recurring issues.
- Collaborating with the spare parts department for part identification and customer communication.
- Overseeing the status of projects, service calls, installations, and all pending activities.

- Previous experience in technical customer service, service management, or technical coordination roles.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and internal teams, even in critical situations.
- Familiarity with international manufacturing companies or interaction with European parent companies.
- Strong organisational and management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Problem‑solving attitude, operational autonomy, and strong customer orientation.
- Good command of IT tools and basic commercial awareness (costs, pricing, margins).
