You will be working as part of a Facilities Team who will be looking after the Newark Bus Station Site and supporting members of the public, Bus Station users and Bus Operators on a daily basis.

Duties will include the security of the building, alarms and key holding, cleaning and caretaking related work and communicating with members of the public/Bus Operators in order to share information and assist Newark Bus Station users in their travel requirements.

Newark Bus Station is open between 7am and 7pm Monday to Saturday. You will be working 6.5hrs per day, Monday to Saturday on a two shift pattern of alternate early and late shifts. The shifts comprise of an early shift of 6.30am to 1pm and a late shift of 12.40pm to 7.10pm.

You will have demonstrated high levels of customer care as daily communication with members of the public and Bus Operators is a vital part of this post. In addition, experience of working within the area of Site Management and Security is also important. Previous experience of working at Bus Depots and within the area of Transportation is also desirable.
