Are you passionate about helping people and delivering outstanding customer service? Join our Customer Service team as a Customer Support Advisor and make a real difference to customers when they need support most.


At Golden Charter, our customers and funeral directors are at the heart of everything we do. In this role, you’ll be a trusted point of contact, providing expert support and handling enquiries with care, professionalism and empathy. Whether by phone, email or post, you’ll ensure every interaction is handled with confidence and compassion.


We offer hybrid working, with collaboration days in our Glasgow office at least twice a week. Please note, the role includes an initial two-week office-based training period.


What you’ll be doing

  • Handling customer enquiries via phone, email and written correspondence
  • Updating customer plans accurately and maintaining detailed records
  • Processing card payments and Direct Debit requests
  • Resolving complaints where possible or escalating appropriately
  • Following customer duty and vulnerability guidelines at all times


What we’re looking for

  • A genuine passion for helping people and delivering excellent service
  • Previous customer service experience in a telephone-based role
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
