Our Corporate Services Customer Support team have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Support Officer to provide an efficient, effective telephony and face to face, front of house provision on a range of services delivered from the corporate contact centre and Customer Service Centre. You'll be office basedat City Hall, York House or neighbourhood locations as required, working 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday and 8:30am to 4:30pm on Fridays. What you'll be doing Acting as an ambassador for Leicester City Council by promoting a positive image of all the Council and customer service, through the delivery of excellent front facing customer service. You'll provide a high quality, telephony and face to face, front of house Customer Service provision, enabling members of the public to access accurate advice and assistance with service requests, enquiries, and complaints on all of Leicester City Council services. In addition, you'll efficiently and effectively operate a range of IT equipment and programmes to communicate in a timely manner to relevant sections and organisations and provide face to face Front of House support on an ad hoc basis. What you'll need With excellent communication and customer service skills including, experience of working in a busy environment. You'll have experience dealing with customers either over the phone or face to face. As well as excellent organisational skills and a good working knowledge of IT systems.
