With a Data/AI Engineer role, you will enjoy working with data and AI technologies, value clean, reliable solutions, and want to deliver practical, business-focused outcomes. Applicants may have a background in either Data or AI engineering, with a keen interest in driving value from data using modern AI and analytics techniques.
As a Data / AI Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain data pipelines, analytical solutions, and AI-enabled capabilities that support business decision-making and digital transformation. You will work closely with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to turn data into reliable, scalable, and impactful solutions.
- Data Engineering & Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, datasets, and data models to support analytics, reporting, and AI use cases.

Technical requirements:
- Proven experience as a Data Developer, Data Engineer, AI Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and/or similar languages.
- Experience building data pipelines and working with structured and unstructured data.
- Familiarity with Generative AI and/or machine learning frameworks (e.g. scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Langchain) is desirable.
- Experience with cloud data platforms, data warehouses, or big data technologies is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Appointment to this role is subject to the candidate being eligible for and successfully obtaining UK Security Check (SC) security clearance.
