Working across the whole of the Chief Data Officer Group, the Data & Cyber Security Policy Implementation Lead will play a crucial role in the effective application of new and existing policy across data and information management, cyber security, and digital systems. You will work with senior colleagues across the agency to develop change impact assessments for new policy direction, ensure all UKHSA staff can meet policy requirements whilst continuing to meet our operational demands.

Collaborating closely with the Head of Data Strategy and with senior subject matter experts in digital, data, information, and cyber security you will ensure that data, cyber security, and digital policy meets high quality standards and is accessible to colleagues from a wide range of professional backgrounds. - Experience working in an area of data, information, digital, or cyber security policy.
- Experience of working with and providing leadership across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience designing and implementing organisational change to meet specified requirements.
- Experience developing and implementing evaluation frameworks or compliance monitoring processes.
- Understanding of the legislative and regulatory landscape in data, information, and cyber security.
- Understanding of the government digital and data policy landscape.
- Experience contributing to data and information governance and security.

Location
This role is being offered as hybrid working based at any of our Core HQs. We offer great flexible working opportunities at UKHSA and operate using a hybrid working model where business needs allow. This provides us with greater flexibility about how and where we work, to get the best from our workforce. As a hybrid worker, you will be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of your contractual working hours (approximately 3 days a week pro rata, (averaged over a month) working at one of UKHSA's core HQs (Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool, and London).
Our core HQ offices are modern and newly refurbished with excellent city centre transport links and benefit from co-location with other government departments such as the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC).
