Job Title: Data Architect - Integrations (Outside)
Contract Type: 6 Months + extensions

A leading technology consultancy is looking for an experienced Data Integration Architect to support a large-scale public sector digital transformation programme.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design end-to-end data integration architectures across complex enterprise systems
• Develop API-led, event-driven, and batch integration patterns
• Produce logical and physical integration designs, including data flows and interface specifications
• Define integration standards, reference architectures, and reusable patterns
• Establish data synchronisation, validation, and conflict-resolution logic
• Act as the technical authority for integration delivery
• Support supplier integrations and third-party solution assurance
• Design secure data exchange patterns including logging, monitoring, authentication, and encryption
• Contribute to technical planning, architectural governance, and delivery strategy
Required Experience:
• Experience with API platforms and microservices architectures
• Event streaming or message broker technologies
• Building ETL / ELT data pipelines
• Standards-based integrations (e.g. FHIR, HL7 or similar)
• Designing cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong data modelling skills (logical and canonical models)
• Experience delivering high-volume, resilient data integration solutions
Desirable Experience:
• Modernising legacy enterprise platforms
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
• CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• Familiarity with architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)
