About Research and Technology

Our Research & Technology team works closely with our private equity partners, operating as an extension of their deal teams to develop investment theses, identify structural trends and evaluate opportunities across EMEA.

We combine market research with modern data infrastructure and analytics to deliver actionable insights that support underwriting, portfolio strategy and capital allocation decisions. By leveraging automation, scalable cloud systems and advanced data engineering, we transform fragmented real estate and market data into structured intelligence.

We are seeking a Data Engineer to help build and manage the technological backbone of our data platform. The ideal candidate is analytical, technology-driven, passionate about investment and real estate, and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Data mining and assembling large, complex sets of data from external and internal sources, including managing data feeds through APIs and scripting
Identifying, designing and implementing internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes

Building required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources using AWS and SQL technologies, participate in data migration projects

Building analytical tools (i.e leveraging Tableau) to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics including operational efficiency and fund capital deployment

Ensure data quality and accuracy by implementing data quality checks, and data governance processes

Work closely with investment, asset management and finance teams to translate business needs into data solutions

Requirements and skills

Analytical background required, including Maths, Data science, Engineering
1-3 Years experience as a data engineer or in a similar role
Proficiency in programming and data engineering tools, including SQL, Python
Experience with BI tools such as Tableau is a plus
Structured and Critical Thinking & Analytical: breaks down complex problems and solves them in creative ways is a must
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, understanding of Snowflake, AWS etc.

Understanding of business requirements and spotting opportunities to innovate. Willingness to step out of comfort zone and learn modern data engineering practices and trends.

Self-starter with ability to multi-task and efficiently manage time and workload
