A client in top-tier strategy consultancy is seeking a Due Diligence Consultant with strong Defence experience to join the team. You will work as part of a small, fast‑paced deal team, supporting senior leads on rapid‑turnaround commercial assessments. The objective of the role is to bring deep sector insight and structured consulting discipline to short, demanding workstreams.
Responsibilities
• Lead and contribute to CDD workstreams across defence and adjacent markets
• Rapidly build market, competitor and customer insights through targeted research and expert engagement
• Develop clear, structured analysis and translate findings into concise outputs for senior stakeholders
• Support the team in producing client‑ready slides, models and summary materials under tight timelines
• Manage high‑intensity sprints, shifting priorities and long‑hour expectations typical of DD cycles
Requirements
• 4+ years' experience in top‑tier strategy consulting
• 10+ DDs completed, ideally including multiple defence‑related or adjacent sector engagements
• Deep familiarity with defence industry dynamics, market structure and procurement environments
• Strong analytical capability, structured problem‑solving and excellent slide‑writing
• Comfortable working in demanding, time‑compressed environments with frequent pivots
