Our Grocery Service Centre, based near Liverpool, is a hub for transactional activity across multiple ABF companies within the ABF Grocery division. Supporting some of our well-known brands such as Kingsmill, Pataks, Blue Dragon, Jordans, Ryvita and Silver Spoon, amongst others. We deliver Shared Service activities across a wide range of disciplines including Customer Services, Consumer Care, Finance, Payroll, HR and IS.

Are you a skilled driver with a passion for excellence and safety? We're on the lookout for qualified, experienced Class 1 Night Delivery Drivers to join our expert team at our Stockport site. Your Role

• Daily Operations: Reporting to our Transport Front Line Manager, you'll ensure the safe delivery and collection of goods, providing accurate information during driver debriefs.
• Brand Ambassador: Represent Allied Bakeries with pride, delivering our beloved Kingsmill, Allisons, and Sunblest brands with professionalism and a smile.

As a Kingsmill HGV Class 1 Night Delivery Driver, you’re the powerhouse behind getting Britain’s favourite bread exactly where it needs to be - fresh, fast, and ready for the morning rush. With the quiet motorways as your runway and a fully loaded truck behind you, you keep the nation stocked before the first light even breaks.

You’ll handle long-distance night routes with confidence and skill, expertly transporting Kingsmill’s top-quality products between depots, warehouses, and key retail partners. It’s a role built for drivers who thrive in the calm of the night, enjoy the smooth rhythm of overnight logistics, and take real pride in knowing their work fuels breakfast tables across the UK.

Key Accountabilities

🌟 Diverse Deliveries: You’ll be at the heart of our operations, with work that may include multi‑drop deliveries to our customers’ stores, as well as transporting goods across our wider network of bakery sites and customer distribution centres. With a varied mix of routes, locations, including single and double‑deck driving, no two days are ever the same—keeping your workday dynamic, engaging, and full of variety.

⏰ Flexible Schedule: Enjoy a balanced work–life rhythm with our 8‑week rotating pattern—five days on, followed by three days off. This includes weekend and bank holiday working, with start times typically between 6pm and 10pm.

🦺Safety First: Your commitment to safe driving will be a source of pride for us. You'll be instrumental in upholding our safety-first agenda, ensuring a secure environment for yourself and others.

The Right Person

🚚Experienced Drivers: Ideally, you have experience in food distribution or retail logistics and will hold an up-to-date CPC card.
