We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Band 6 Nurse (Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration essential) on Intwood Ward for an experienced and dedicated Nurse looking to progress in their career. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role, provide expert clinical care, and help to mentor and support junior colleagues all while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
As a Band 6 nurse, you will deliver high quality, patient centered care and take on additional leadership responsibilities. You will be expected to supervise junior staff and ensure the safe delivery of care, which meets both clinical and organizational standards.
The successful candidate will preferably have significant experience in Respiratory or Cardiology with at least 2 years of post-registration experience, preferably in a Band 5 or equivalent position. The ability to empathize with patients and be a role model for others is a must. We are a close and hard-working team, and the ability to be a team player is essential.
