About The Role
At Northumbrian Water Group, we are looking for a confident and customer-focused Developer Services Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will act as a key point of contact for customers and developers requiring new water connections, guiding them through the process and providing clear advice on requirements and next steps.
You will review development plans, site layouts and technical drawings to identify suitable connection points and ensure proposals meet required technical standards. Using mapping systems and site information, you will prepare accurate quotations, including calculating infrastructure charges and identifying any traffic management or local authority costs.
You will also work closely with colleagues and external partners to support the smooth delivery of projects, while maintaining accurate records and managing your workload to help the team meet key customer performance targets.

About You
You will be a confident communicator who enjoys supporting customers and explaining technical information clearly, with a strong focus on delivering an excellent customer experience. You are a team player who works well with colleagues and external partners to achieve shared goals. You are innovative and adaptable, able to respond positively to change and identify ways to improve processes.
You will be comfortable working with development plans, mapping tools and numerical data, with strong attention to detail and organisation. You can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting service levels, and you have good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
Experience within the water industry or Developer Services would be beneficial, along with an understanding of water networks, metering or relevant regulations, although training will be provided.
