About the Role
We are looking for an Entry-Level DevOps Support Engineer to assist with maintaining development and deployment environments. This role is ideal for candidates who are interested in learning about cloud platforms, automation, and system monitoring while working with experienced DevOps and engineering teams.
You will support day-to-day infrastructure operations and help ensure applications run smoothly across development and production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring applications, servers, and cloud environments
- Support deployment processes and basic automation tasks
- Help maintain development and testing environments
- Work with development teams to troubleshoot application or infrastructure issues
- Assist in documenting system processes and configurations
- Support system updates, patches, and maintenance activities
- Escalate complex issues to senior DevOps engineers when needed
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Linux or operating systems
- Familiarity with Git version control
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts
- Familiarity with Docker or containerization tools
- Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, or similar)
Qualifications
- Degree or coursework in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Entry-level candidates, recent graduates, or individuals with relevant training are encouraged to apply
