Digital Analytics & Operations Manager

Business Area: Nestlé Purina

Location: Gatwick (Hybrid 2-3 days a week in the office)

Salary up to £72,000 depending on experience + potential bonus + car allowance + pension + 12 additional flex days on top of 25 day holiday entitlement + many other excellent benefits!

Here at Nestlé Purina, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Digital Analytics & Operations Manager to join the team, reporting into the Head of Digital. This is a pivotal role designed to elevate our personalisation and data-driven marketing capabilities across Purina UK&I brand portfolio.

You’ll take full ownership of the digital marketing technology roadmap, consumer data strategy whilst leading the development of automated consumer journeys (CX), and drive value across our marketing platforms. Your work will ensure we deliver smarter, more relevant and impactful engagement with pet owners across all our digital touchpoints.

Your impact

You will work with a range of stakeholders to influence and drive our digital ambition, with a real focus on accelerating digital performance. You will collaborate with our marketing brand teams to achieve their digital ambitions, including initiatives related to Customer Data Platforms (CDP), website improvements, and Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) development. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Digital Marketing Technology Roadmap: Lead the planning and execution of the Digital Marketing Technology Roadmap to support marketing initiatives and enhance digital capabilities.
• Project Management: Act as both Project Manager and Product Owner for key marketing technology projects, ensuring alignment with Purina UKI’s strategic goals.

Compliance and Security: Ensure adherence to legal and security standards across consumer data and digital platforms, including GDPR and data privacy regulations.

Website Management: Serve as the Technical Product Owner for Purina UKI websites, leading the development of functionalities that meet current and future brand needs.

Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring quality, accuracy, and cost-effective practices in technical and CRM projects.

Measurement Framework: Support the development of a cohesive measurement framework and dashboards for Marketing and CX teams, helping to define the value of data through the consumer funnel.

Data Integration: Lead the consolidation of consumer PII data feeds, ensuring compliance and alignment with our eCRM strategy.

Market Insights: Stay up to date with Nestlé developments in technology solutions to leverage opportunities for Purina UKI’s digital evolution.

Your ingredients for success

You will have a wealth of experience at a senior level within the digital analytics space coupled with fantastic project and budget management skills ideally within an FMCG environment. You will be able to demonstrate experience connecting data and driving insights across the Digital ecosystem including search, content, websites, CRM, channels, and platforms and proven ability to lead digital roadmaps from concept through to implementation, enabling business and brand strategies. You will be passionate, results focused and also have:

• Experience in managing multi-channel digital projects with internal and external stakeholders. Think Brand teams, Agency Partners, leadership teams and more!

Knowledge of data and analytics, with the ability to turn technical jargon into business-friendly language.

Proficient with Google Stack, including Google Analytics, GTM, Search Console, and Optimise.

Fantastic experience and knowledge of web analytics.

Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and project management tools.

Technical knowledge of web development, CMS solutions, and basic HTML/CSS.

Proven experience of changing data into actionable insights.

And finally, you will feel comfortable to challenge the status quo, have a real passion to learn and understand the importance of building positive relationships across a wide range of stakeholders. Coupled with this you will thrive in an environment that is often ambiguous, navigate yourself and stakeholders to positive solutions.
