As a Digital Learning Designer, you’ll play a key role in creating high quality, engaging learning experiences that support the growth and capability of colleagues across the business. You’ll design and deliver blended learning solutions, maintain and enhance existing content, and ensure all learning aligns with our operational needs, brand, and values.
Please note this is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract paying up to £35,000 plus benefits.
You’ll work closely with subject matter experts, the wider Learning & Development team, and stakeholders across the organisation to bring learning to life through innovative design, technology, and creativity.
This is an ideal opportunity for a Learning Designer with around 3–5 years’ experience who is passionate about digital learning, curious about new technologies, and excited by the potential of AI and emerging tools.
What You’ll Do
You’ll design and develop learning solutions across digital, virtual, and face to face formats, ensuring content is accessible, engaging, and aligned to business needs. You’ll also support the administration of learning platforms, respond to learner queries, and contribute to continuous improvement across our learning offering.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and build blended learning solutions that meet business and learner needs
• Translate operational knowledge into clear, accessible learning content
• Maintain and update existing learning materials to ensure accuracy and relevance
• Apply instructional design principles and accessibility standards across all content
• Support the administration and optimisation of learning technologies, including our LMS
• Respond to learner queries and support the wider L&D team
• Ensure all content reflects our tone of voice, values, and brand guidelines
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the learning function
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications & Experience:
• A qualification in Learning Design, digital media, multimedia, or equivalent experience • Experience designing blended learning solutions with accessibility in mind
• Knowledge of LMS and/or Learning Experience Platforms
• Experience using rapid authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and Synthesia
