We are seeking experienced Dimensional Systems Engineers to join our team, supporting a major OEM programme and ensuring best‑in‑class dimensional quality from concept through launch.

In this role, you will take full responsibility for the Dimensional Quality lifecycle—covering feasibility, measurement strategy, tolerancing, tooling alignment, build support and dimensional maturation for new vehicle programmes. You’ll work at the cutting edge of automotive body structures and assembly systems, influencing design and driving product excellence.
Agile & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Actively support Agile squad ceremonies including sprint planning, daily start‑ups, showcases and retrospectives.
- Ensure timely closure of issues in readiness for upcoming milestones, escalating or blocking stories where appropriate.
CAD, Measurement & Tolerancing
- Create and maintain single panel and assembly locator strategies in Catia V6, aligned to platform and gauging standards.
- Develop Biased & Critical Tolerance brochures for sourcing phases.
- Support supplier reviews to ensure dimensional requirements are fully understood, including on‑site engagement when required.
Tooling, Build & Commissioning
- Participate in tooling design reviews, ensuring standards are met and locator accuracy is maintained.
- Support build events—including weekday and occasional weekend coverage—ensuring dimensional quality targets are achieved.
- Develop commissioning plans for each build phase, including measurement programme validation.
- Own the dimensional performance of allocated systems/zones, reporting progress via standardised roadmaps.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in Dimensional Engineering, ideally within the automotive sector.
- Proficiency in GD&T, CATIA V6, tolerance analysis and measurement systems.
