Director of Quality
Hours: Full-Time (37 hours per week)
Base location negotiable, with travel across Avalon Localities expected
Salary: £75,000 per annum
Avalon Group is an award-winning social care charity dedicated to enabling people to live fulfilling lives, however they choose. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Quality to lead our quality and compliance agenda and drive exceptional outcomes across our services.
The Role
This is a pivotal leadership position, combining strategic oversight with operational impact. You will design and deliver our Quality and Compliance Strategy, embedding a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring our services consistently meet — and exceed — regulatory and internal standards.
As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will oversee quality assurance frameworks, drive improvement initiatives, and ensure learning from incidents and feedback informs meaningful change.

The base location for this role is negotiable; however, flexibility is required to meet business needs, including travel to our local offices. A full, valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes are essential.
