Delta Academies Trust are looking to appoint a Director of Science to join our Trust in September 2026 on a permanent, full time basis.

Delta Academies Trust is seeking a Director of Science to join our dynamic team and make a lasting impact on the educational journey of students across the North East Yorkshire Region (Lady Lumley’s Academy, Filey Academy, Scarborough UTC and Scalby Academy).

As the Director of Science, you’ll be at the forefront of driving excellence in science education. You’ll work closely with the head of department, senior leadership and subject teams, fostering a culture of high achievement and inspiring both teachers and students. Your mission will involve leading and mentoring science departments, enhancing the quality of teaching and learning, and raising student outcomes across biology, chemistry, and physics.
