Job Summary
As Director of RWE, you will lead a small, high performing team while remaining hands on in the design and delivery of complex observational research studies. You will act as the senior scientific and strategic partner to clients, guiding them from proposal through to successful study delivery.
You will join the Senior Leadership Team and contribute to the broader strategic direction of the RWE function, playing an active role in business growth, capability development, and thought leadership.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Study Consultancy
You will join the Senior Leadership Team and contribute to the broader strategic direction of the RWE function, playing an active role in business growth, capability development, and thought leadership.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Study Consultancy
- Partnering with clients and therapy area experts to designing robust real world evidence strategies using both primary and secondary data methodologies.
- Leading the implementation of complex observational research studies across chart reviews, database studies, and mixed methodology projects.
- Acting as the senior scientific lead and trusted advisor throughout study conceptualisation and execution.
- Driving seamless transition of projects from contract to delivery by establishing clear milestones, scope, and accountability.
- Ensuring client commercial and scientific goals are embedded throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintaining senior oversight of scope, timelines, and budgets to ensure high quality and profitable delivery.
- Identifying risks and resolving challenges proactively and collaboratively.
- Leading client review meetings and strengthening long term partnerships through transparent communication.
- Contributing significantly to RWE revenue targets through leadership of a substantial portfolio of work.
- Identifying and shaping new RWE opportunities by understanding client strategy and the evolving healthcare landscape.
- Designing innovative study concepts across primary data collection, retrospective database studies, feasibility assessments, qualitative research, and expert elicitation studies.

- Have experience leading complex observational research studies across both primary and secondary methodologies such as chart reviews and database studies.
- Bring commercial acumen and can identify opportunities for new RWE studies using diverse data sources.
- PhD, MSc, or MBA in a healthcare, scientific, mathematical, or business related discipline.
- At least five years of experience in RWE scientific consultancy within pharma, biotech, or a CRO setting.
