Warings Furniture is a family-run business we design, manufacture, and deliver exceptionally high-quality furniture to hospitality clients both nationally and internationally.

We have new opportunities for dispatch operatives to join the team in our workshop in Larling, Norfolk.

Candidates must be reliable with a can-do attitude, You must also be a team player with the ability to use your own initiative, be a good communicator, and have a keen eye for detail in order to ensure deliveries are loaded correctly. Must have manual handling experience as some heavy lifting is required. Experience in a similar dispatch role loading furniture would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Loading/Unloading lorries
  • Ensuring goods dispatched are packaged correctly to prevent damage in transit
  • Ensuring loads are secure, safe, and accessible for each separate delivery
  • Ensuring loads fit to maximise space and weight on the lorry
  • Counting and checking goods in and out, signing off paperwork
  • Prioritising workloads (delivery schedule/production schedule)
  • Liaison with Logistics, Warehouse, Sales, and Production Planning Departments to ensure customer orders are correct. xlqdzyr
  • Liaison with delivery drivers, ensuring they have the correct information.
  • Ensuring lorries and keys are secure at all times (night and day)
  • Able to work safely and adhere to HSE regulations
