With effect from 01 April 2026, NHS Scotland is reducing its full-time working week from 37 to 36 hours per week, there will be no change in full time pay.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced registered general nurse who holds a specialist practitioner qualification (SPQ) in District Nursing to join the community nursing team in Perth City.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate enhanced decision-making and leadership qualities and currently be practicing at an advanced practice level.

The successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly to lead the team to deliver safe, effective, person-centred care to every patient between the hours 8/830AM-10pm over 7 days. Hours of work are 37 hr per week (Monday to Sunday)

You will support by leading the implementation of change and improvement within your team and support the locality team in the delivery of PKHSCP and NHS Tayside’s vision and values.

Due to Health and Social Care integration, a commitment to multi disciplinary working with the ability to adapt and manage change within the service is essential.

You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register and hold a Specialist Practice Qualification in District nursing
