Our successful Secretarial Document Services Department are looking for an experienced Document Specialist to join the team. We need you to be an organised, professional individual who has a "can do" attitude and who embraces new software/eager to learn and develop their skills.

Our Team

You will be working within the Secretarial Document Services Department who provide central document specialist support to the firm. You will be reporting to the Leeds office Secretarial Services Manager and be working alongside other Document Specialists supporting UK offices and also global offices, as required.

Our Opportunity

This role would be ideal for someone who has strong experience working with legal documents, in particular heavy amendments and formatting. You must also have experience of and be capable with using MS Office at an advanced level.

You'll work within a team providing central document specialist support to the firm, incorporating all facets of legal document processing. Types of work will include amending legal documents, formatting existing Word documents into firm house style, converting and amending PDFs, editing/creating Excel spreadsheet and PowerPoint slides, using Laserform, using DocuSign, mail merges, editing/creating pitch documents and emailing documents to clients.

You would be working to a shift pattern of Monday - Friday, 5pm - 1am, although some flexibility is required. Home-working is available for this role.

You

As this is a varied role, you'll need to be an organised, proactive individual who can easily prioritise and work under pressure. You'll also have experience of digital dictation software and the ability to juggle priorities.

You will have a minimum typing speed of 65wpm and legal experience covering major aspects of law and in the processing of legal text, including specialist documentation.

This is a remote-based role, so you will be comfortable working independently.
