Job Summary
Domestic Assistant (Alston) - 10 hours per week. Monday to Friday 8am-10am.
To promote and provide a high standard of cleanliness on our hospital wards, clinical areas and other trust premises
Main duties of the job
Vacuum/sweep, mop floors
Floor buffing
Shampoo carpets with extraction machines
Low/high damp dusting
Clean inside windows, frames and sills
Clean furniture and fittings, mirrors etc, to include moving of furniture and equipment as required to enable efficient cleaning
Assist in induction of new staff
Routine cleaning and basic maintenance of cleaning equipment
Attend all Mandatory training sessions
Order weekly stores and put away on delivery
