As a
Duty Security Manager, you will be responsible for leading day‑to‑day security operations within a high‑profile, technology‑focused corporate environment. Acting as the main point of contact, the Duty Security Manager ensures a consistent, professional service while upholding high standards of security, confidentiality, and team performance🛡️
Working across a 24/7 operation, the
Duty Security Manager oversees security personnel, maintains strong working relationships with stakeholders, and ensures compliance with training and licensing requirements. Through effective supervision, planning, and staff management, the Duty Security Manager helps maintain a safe, secure environment that supports the organisation’s wider business needs.

Responsibilities
Job Description
You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:
- Ensure all personnel under supervision have completed appropriate site training and hold a valid SIA licence or LDN, meeting industry requirements
Conduct monthly check-ins with Security Officers, proactively monitoring performance, maintaining positive employee relations and providing coaching and counselling as needed, in line with company policy Report all incidents in compliance with customer and company policiesAssist the Security Management Team in developing and sharing best practices and utilising systems and tools to enhance service effectivenessBe fully conversant with operational functions including Access Control, CCTV, Detection and Alarm Systems, ensuring effective monitoring and reportingAssist the Site/Branch Manager with any additional reasonable or practical requestsDemonstrate understanding and engagement with the Securitas Core Values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness, whilst showing a natural ability to recognise risk within the workplace and consider safety as a priority, complying with relevant policies, procedures and training as provided by the Company

Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:
- A valid SIA licence
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a Security Supervisor or Security Manager role
- The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
- Proven experience operating and managing CCTV systems and access control systems
- Strong understanding of site security procedures, incident reporting, and emergency response
- Good level of IT literacy for reporting systems and security software
- Reliable and trust worthy
Team player Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
