We have an exciting opportunity to join a Family Hub Team within Nottinghamshire. This is a great time to join our team as locally we are transforming our Children’s Centre Service into Family Hub Networks. Our work with children 0-5 years remains part of our core offer and we will be expanding our service offer to 0-19 years.

You will be able to undertake one-to-one work with parents/carers to meet identified needs and deliver evidence-based programmes, within Family Hubs and family homes.

You Must Have a Minimum Of Two Years’ Experience Of Working With Children 0-5 And Their Families, An NVQ 3 In Childcare (or Equivalent) With Experience, Be a Driver With Access To a Vehicle For Work Purposes And Be Able To Demonstrate Sound Knowledge In The Following Areas

  • Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults
  • Knowledge of child development and awareness of the importance of early attachments
  • The importance of early intervention when working with families
  • Working in diverse communities and the ability to work in a non-discriminatory way.
  • Working in partnership with a range of agencies
  • Communication skills, report writing, assessment skills, record keeping and IT skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality
