We are looking to appoint a new enthusiastic and dedicated colleague, in the role of Educational Teaching Assistant who will work as part of our team to support the learning and welfare of the children at East Bierley CE (VC) Primary School. This exciting opportunity has arisen due to the resignation of a long-standing member of our support team who has left to follow a different career path. East Bierley is a thriving, one-form-entry Primary School in the heart of our small but popular village, surrounded by green space and has a real community feel.
The successful applicant will provide practical support for learning, educational activities, developing social skills and for securing children’s physical and emotional wellbeing. Energy, patience, enthusiasm and positive approach to learning are also vital to this role together with a commitment to maintaining the Christian ethos of the school. We are looking for someone who shares our passion and vision.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff are subject to an enhanced DBS check. A conviction may not exclude candidates from appointment but will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
