At OCU Group, we’re looking for an ambitious, hands-on Electrical Improver to join our fast-growing team based in North Wales.
This role isn’t your typical 9–5 — it’s your chance to get stuck into exciting projects across the UK, so the ability and willingness to travel is essential.
Whether you’re experienced in industrial environments like UKPN, National Grid, SPEN, or just starting out in your journey and eager to learn — we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Installing and maintaining cable containment systems (tray, ladder etc.)
- Gladding, terminating & testing SWA cables
- Control panel wiring and electrical fault-finding
- Supporting HV/LV installations & maintenance
- Promoting and maintaining a strong health & safety culture
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
