As part of the Electrical Controls & Instrumentation team, you will provide engineering design solutions and through‑life support, from developing new products to meet client and internal specifications, to maintaining legacy systems and managing obsolescence through targeted upgrades.

  • Adherence to engineering and company standards and processes.
  • Site visits to other JFD offices and client assets as and when required.
  • Compliance to internal and external standards & regulations.

What we're looking for:

  • Electrical / Electronic / Manufacturing Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of electrical design and manufacturing of instrumentation systems
  • Experience in 2D /3D drafting (AutoCAD, Solidworks or similar)
  • Preparation and maintenance of comprehensive project documentation including specifications and drawings
  • Ability to co-ordinate with cross functional teams including and design standards mechanical engineers
  • Knowledge of manufacturing techniques
  • Demonstrated experience in an Electrical Project Engineering role
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management system for generating and storage of engineering packages
  • Previous diving or subsea equipment design experience would be advantageous
  • Any relevant diving qualifications would be advantageous

  • Why Join Us

    • Early finish on Fridays
    • Competitive salary and benefits package aligned with experience (Private Medical Insurance, Life Assurance, Cycle to work scheme, Company Pension, etc.)
