The Vacancy

WGM Engineering Ltd, part of the RSK Group are recruiting for an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to join our Compliance Team on a full time, permanent basis! This role will be based in Glasgow with some hybrid flexibility available. You will also visit sites across our region therefore there may be an element of working away from home on ocassion.

In this role, you will supervise electrical regulatory tasks, ensuring they are delivered to budget to fully satisfy customer requirements. This role will support the Delivery Manager, and the E&M business stream, to drive service delivery which will be recognised by the client and ensure key performance targets and SLAs are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure client assets worked on, out turn with compliance to current electrical regulations, WIMES specification and Electrical Safety Rules (ESR).
  • Continually improve project communication and performance within the team.
  • Building strong client relationships.
  • Develop business within the electrical regulatory structure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SVQ Level 3 Electrical.
  • Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship.
  • Recognised Inspection & Testing Qualification.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • ECS Card.
  • Knowledge and understanding of electrical construction to WIMES Specification.
  • Knowledge of safe systems of work.
  • Excellent mentoring skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven experience in an operational supervisory role.
  • Valid UK driving licence is essential.
