Role Overview
This position is responsible for driving the growth and development of the Electronics Engineering function at Delta-Mobrey’s Camberley site. The role encompasses:
· Design of analogue and digital electronic systems
· Circuit and PCB layout and development
· Software and firmware programming
· Management of engineering projects
· Oversight of component lifecycle and obsolescence
Key Deliverables
· Strengthening the capabilities of the electronics engineering team
· Introducing and integrating emerging technologies (e.g. Industrial Internet of Things – IIoT)
Candidate Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering
· Proven experience in product development within Industrial, Automotive, Aerospace, Medical, or Defence sectors
· Must hold British citizenship
Preferred Skills & Knowledge
· Demonstrated success in leading and delivering engineering projects
· Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and configuration control
· Proficiency in electronics design tools (e.g. Altium)
· Understanding of metrology principles
Desirable Attributes
· Degree or HNC in Electronic Engineering
· Experience with industrial instrumentation and sensor technologies
· Knowledge of Safety Integrity Level (SIL) standards
· Exposure to electro-mechanical design
Ideal Background
· Experience working in highly regulated environments
· Familiarity with functional safety standards, SIL and ATEX compliance
Training Provided
· Product-specific training
· Instruction on Delta-Mobrey’s internal processes and procedures
Salary
· Up to £55k depending on experience
