We are seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit. As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.
Responsibilities
The Technician will be based full-time at the Google sites in London, delivering break-fix support, preventative maintenance, small works installations, site surveys, and operational support to the wider team. The role ensures the reliability, performance, and compliance of installed systems and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform break-fix activities, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting across installed systems and equipment.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in accordance with maintenance schedules and site requirements.
- Deliver small works projects, including minor installations, modifications, and system upgrades.
- Conduct site surveys for upcoming small works and provide technical input to support accurate scope development.
- Install containment, cabling, enclosures, and panels in accordance with industry and site standards.
- Terminate, test, and commission electronic devices.
- Configure hardware and software components as required and support system testing and validation.
- Maintain accurate documentation of works completed, test results, and maintenance records.
- Track and manage tools, materials, and inventory, including inspections and ordering where required.
