As a Electrotechnical Engineer M/F/D you will report to the Engineering Team Leader in the Engineering based in Telford for a Permanent contract.
The Electro Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d) is taking the role in the Development Team in Telford that is part of a Global R&D Organisation.

As a Electrotechnical Engineer M/F/D you will report to the Engineering Team Leader in the Engineering based in Telford for a Permanent contract.
The Electro Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d) is taking the role in the Development Team in Telford that is part of a Global R&D Organisation.
What you will do?
- With your electrotechnical knowledge, you support the creation of test plan for the design verification
- You accompany design verification testing and participate in the product validation process
- You use your knowledge about Low Voltage Systems to introduce Hager in project business activity
- You are responsible for electrical network calculation and have got an understanding of network topologies especially for Low Voltage Systems / Enclosures up to 6300A
- Your experience with the CAD tool (ideally Creo 7.0) enables you to model the designs
- You apply Design methodologies (Design for Excellence) and follow the FMEA process
- You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering
- You have got solid knowledge on applicable standards (like IEC 61439; IEC 62208, British Standard versions)
- Your first experience with device integration/ system design, sheet metal, plastic part design, design of electrical busbar systems, thermal dissipation and sort circuit ratings would be advantageous
- You have got a general knowledge about manufacturing processes
- SAP and PLM tools are nothing new to you
