Job Description:

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage and coordinate ER Hub delivery against agreed SLA
  • Ensure cases and queries are handled promptly, consistently and commercially
  • Oversee service quality including call listening, SLAs, feedback and system usage
  • Lead on effective use of the case management tool and audit processes
  • Use ER and MI data to identify trends and recommend actions
  • Influence stakeholders and shape HR policies, processes and governance
  • Support the implementation of the ER operating model
  • Lead ER Hub initiatives and improvement projects
  • Manage escalated ER issues including Speak Ups and ET cases
  • Enhance customer experience through consistent, simplified ER processes
  • Contribute to developing manager capability across the business


Essential Skills & Experience

  • CIPD‑qualified with strong, solid, senior, demonstrable ER experience
  • Previous line management experience
  • Experience of autonomously and pragmatically managing complex cases up to and including tribunals.
  • Experience of working with Trade Unions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive action
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail
  • Resilient and calm under pressure
  • Confident decision‑maker with the ability to provide objective challenge
  • Experience reporting and interpreting ER MI and governance data
  • Project management experience
