Description

We're working with a leading tech company who are looking to bring on a Spanish-speaking Employment lawyer, from April until the end of the year.

You'd function as the Country Lawyer for Spain (primary focus), Italy, Portugal and Retail operations in France. You'd be the main point of contact for all employment-related matters within these jurisdictions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Acting as first-line legal support for HR teams, including hiring, performance management, and disciplinary issues
  • Supporting various retail-related projects
  • Managing change initiatives, including restructurings and redundancies
  • Overseeing outsourced litigation and tribunal matters
  • Advising on employment law aspects of regional acquisitions (e.g., TUPE transfers)
  • Partnering with the Benefits & Compensation team to ensure alignment with regional approaches
  • Working closely with leadership on a range of confidential strategic projects

It's a hybrid role, with 3 days per week working from the company's London office.

If this could be of interest, we'd love to hear from you.
