Simpson Judge is delighted to be working with a well-established and highly regarded regional law firm seeking an ambitious Employment Solicitor (Newly Qualified and above) to join their respected Employment Team in Lichfield.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven solicitor looking to build their career within a collaborative and growing practice, handling a varied caseload of both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
The Opportunity
You will work closely with experienced Partners and senior lawyers while also managing your own caseload. The role offers exposure to high-quality work across a broad client base including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, senior executives, and individual employees.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing Employment Tribunal claims from initial instruction through to final hearing
- Advising on unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, and contractual disputes
- Providing guidance on TUPE, redundancy processes, and business restructures
About You
- Qualified Solicitor (Newly Qualified and above) with experience in Employment Law
- Experience managing or assisting with Employment Tribunal matters
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with strong client care skills
- Commercially aware and solutions-focused
- Motivated to develop professionally and contribute to team growth
