Salary: £35,451- £39,165 per annum

Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen at ESPO for an Energy Bill Validation Manager. This pivotal role supports ESPO’s bureau-style Bill Validation Service, ensuring customer energy invoices are accurate and billed in line with contract terms.

The successful candidate will oversee the day‑to‑day operation of the service, drive continuous improvement and lead a team of bill validators. The role ensures all invoices are thoroughly checked, queries are managed and KPIs with customers and suppliers are consistently met

About You

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Experience in validating energy invoices within a bureau‑style environment and knowledge of energy management systems such as Optima (or similar)
  • GCSE Grade A-C (or Equivalent) in English & Mathematics
  • Strong understanding of the UK energy sector
  • Experience of working within a customer services environment
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (including macros and pivot tables)
  • The ability to manage workload efficiently and effectively
