We are looking for an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join our successful, highly respected and rapidly growing Energy and Resource Management (ERM) team. The team is at the cutting edge of delivering projects within the ERM sectors that are currently undergoing a once in a generation transformation as we move towards a greener and more sustainable environment.
The ERM team consists of four market leading partners Nadeem Arshad, Nathan Bradberry, Rupert Lugg and Gemma Glasspole. All four Partners are ranked in the legal directories, such as Legal 500, for their expertise in Energy, Project Finance and PFI.
Over the last 3 years, the ERM team has rapidly grown and is now made up of 12 lawyers advising on a number of market leading deals. We are proud to have been a finalist in the Legal Advisor of the Year category at the PPP Partnerships Awards 2025 for the eighth year in a row.
Team members have also been recognised in the Legal 500 Green Guide for their commitment to environmental sustainability, with Nathan Bradberry one of only 40 individuals in the UK - and 100 worldwide - to be named as a Legal 500 Green Ambassador.
The ERM team advises on a broad range of clients on high profile ERM projects. This includes project sponsors/developers (e.g. Viridor, Boom Power, Equans), Government departments (e.g. DESNZ, Ofgem, DEFRA) and a number of public sector organisations (e.g. Birmingham City Council) on ERM projects, including:

The role
As a senior member of the ERM team, you will have a critical role in shaping and developing our growing practice. On a day-to day basis, you will be supporting clients on a range of exciting ERM work, including:

What we are looking for from you
Our talented ERM team consists of lawyers with a diverse range of skills and experience. We will consider candidates from a variety of backgrounds and experience including, for example, a lawyer with projects, construction or commercial expertise.
One of the key attributes we're seeking is a passion to learn, enthusiasm and the desire to excel as a lawyer in the ERM sectors. We are also looking for a team player, who enjoys delivering projects and is keen to share knowledge, skills and experience for the benefit of the wider team.
