As Engineering Survey Lead, you will provide strategic oversight of structural and geospatial surveying across the Group. While survey teams remain embedded within operating companies, you will set standards, drive quality, support work winning and act as the technical authority on complex matters.
You will work closely with the CEO and Operating Company MDs, ensuring surveying capability supports operational excellence and business growth. As the function evolves, you may build and scale a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop Group wide surveying capability
- Establish and enforce surveying standards, methodologies and reporting
- Act as technical authority for complex surveying issues
- Support tenders and identify follow on project opportunities
- Monitor resource allocation and commercial performance
- Audit survey data to ensure compliance and quality
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders
About You
- Chartered Member of IStructE, CICES, RICS or equivalent
- Bridge Inspector Certification Scheme certified or willing to undertake on joining
10 plus years technical surveying experience5 plus years leading an established surveying teamStrong knowledge of surveying regulations, RICS Standards, CDM and HSEProven ability to set standards and drive qualityStrong commercial awareness and experience supporting tendersConfidence to challenge non compliant practices
