We’re looking for a proactive and pragmatic Enterprise Architect who thrives in complex, regulated Defence environments and takes ownership of delivering secure, scalable, and standards-aligned architectural solutions. You’ll be someone who understands the importance of aligning technical architecture with real-world operational needs, ensuring that capabilities are not only compliant, but also interoperable, sustainable, and effective in the hands of the Army.
Whether you have direct experience in Defence or transferable skills from a similar field, success in this role will require you to navigate both high-level strategic frameworks and detailed technical models, from governing data flows and system interfaces to contributing to security and accreditation reviews. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as you’ll collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, military stakeholders, and industry partners to shape, document, and evolve architectures that underpin critical training and simulation systems.
As OMNIA, we are looking for individuals who want to serve. You’ll have a mission focus, and the enthusiasm and drive to ‘get things done’. You’ll want to work in collaboration with other defence training organisations, and the British Army. You won’t let bureaucracy get in the way of what needs to be done, you’ll learn lessons and share these lessons across the team. You won’t necessarily have a military background, but you’ll understand what it means to serve and to put the mission first.
