Environmental Manager

Environment & Delivery lead under the Hotels & Restaurant tower, ensuring Opera platform stability with planned maintenance, controlled change, and smooth BAU operations.

This role sits at the intersection of environments, releases, incidents, automation, and stakeholder coordination, with a strong focus on reducing risk and improving operational efficiency.

·       Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS) and cloud hosted application environments

·       Hands on experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

·       Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

·       Experience using logging tools for issue analysis and troubleshooting

·       Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace

·       Familiarity with delivery and quality tools like JIRA and Zephyr

·       Strong understanding of environment management across DEV, SIT, UAT, Pre Prod and Production

·       Good knowledge of release management and end to end SDLC

·       Ability to coordinate with development, QA, DevOps, integration and support teams to resolve environment issues

·       Act as a single point of coordination to restore environment usability and stability

·       Experience managing environment dependencies across web applications, mobile apps, APIs and backend services, and applications like postman.

·       Ability to support incident resolution, environment issues, and release related problems

·       Strong communication skills to ensure clear status updates and issue resolution across teams

Key Responsibilities

Environment Management

·       Own and manage lower environments and production readiness for Opera Cloud and related integrations.

·       Coordinate environment availability, property refreshes, access, and readiness for projects, testing, automation, BAU, and releases.

Release & Change Governance

·       Lead CAB / Change reviews, release scheduling, and deployment coordination.

·       Ensure changes are risk-assessed, sequenced correctly, and communicated clearly.

Operational Stability & Incident Support

·       Support P1/P2 incident triage, RCA discussions, and PIR follow-ups.

·       Act as a bridge between BAU, product teams, vendors, and delivery partners.

Automation & Process Improvement

·       Support automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve consistency. o Provide necessary technical & architectural guidance and planning support.

·       Coordinate and support for completing infrastructure requirements.

Stakeholder Management

• ·       Work closely with Commercial, Product, BAU, Vendors (Oracle / Partners) to unblock delivery and maintain confidence in platform operations.
