The Department

Our on-the-ground resources and experience in London allow us to anticipate and address the myriad compliance and regulatory challenges that can confront our clients on their securities offerings and as public companies. We also regularly advise on Board-related compliance matters, and provide strategic advice and support to our corporate, governmental and investment banking clients across EMEA.

Person Specification

The new hire will join the London Capital Markets Group. We are looking for an individual with 2-3 years' relevant English post qualification experience in the London market, although those with less or more relevant experience will be considered on their merits.


Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on complex ECM transactions, including IPOs, placings, rights issues, and other equity offerings.
  • Provide support on UK public M&A transactions.
  • Offer strategic guidance on regulatory compliance, governance, and market practices relevant to equity capital markets.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate key transaction documents, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and develop client relationships, delivering clear, concise, and commercially focused legal advice.
  • Collaborate with cross-border teams to deliver exceptional client service throughout the transaction lifecycle.


Requirements

  • 2-3 years of relevant English post-qualification experience gained at a top tier London practice.
  • Strong experience in English law ECM transactions.
  • Excellent written communication and drafting skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative.
  • Strong commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceptional client service.
  • Proven record of high academic achievement.
