Description

The Employee Relations Case Manager will lead end‑to‑end investigations across complex and sensitive cases, producing fair, high‑quality reports aligned with ACAS and employment law. The role supports managers through the ER process while contributing to improvements in templates, training materials and wider ER practices.

I'm currently recruiting for an Employee Relations Case Manager on a 3‑month contract (with potential to extend). Based in Nottingham on a hybrid basis, paying £45,000 equivalent via umbrella.

We're supporting a fantastic organisation who need an experienced Employee Relations Case Manager to lead complex investigations and provide high‑quality, balanced ER advice. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in detailed casework and wants to make an immediate impact while the permanent role is recruited.

Description

  • Lead end‑to‑end ER investigations across conduct, performance, grievances & sensitive issues
  • Produce clear, high‑quality investigation reports aligned with ACAS and employment law
  • Guide managers and HR colleagues through the process with objectivity and sound judgement
  • Ensure fairness, consistency and confidentiality across all cases
  • Support improvements to ER processes, templates and training materials during quieter periods
  • Profile

    • Strong ER investigations experience (generalist or specialist)
    • Solid UK employment law and ACAS knowledge
    • Excellent report‑writing and stakeholder management skills
    • Calm, objective and able to manage multiple cases at pace
    • CIPD Level 5+

    Job Offer

    • 3‑month FTC with potential extension or permanent hire
    • Hybrid working: 3 days onsite in Nottingham, home‑working Monday and Friday
