You will need to be self-motivated, have good time management and interpersonal skills, be a good team player to achieve full potential in order to help make Islington a better place for our residents.
You will also be required to work weekends on a rota basis for which an additional enhancement will be paid.
We have a very diverse team and are expanding. As such we are seeking dynamic individuals who want to fulfil our mission to improve the quality of life on Islington’s housing estates.
Our objectives and priorities:
- To provide safe, comfortable homes and estates
- Support residents to live well in their communities
- Increase resident engagement/feedback and improve analysis and learning from responses and complaints
- Reducing waste and increasing recycling
Our estate services teams collaborate with residents and other service areas, such as refuse and recycling, grounds maintenance, community safety and police to ensure our outdoor spaces are green, clean and safe.
It isn’t necessary for you to have experience in estate management if you have the skills, knowledge and background to be able to conduct inspections and identify problems and shortfalls in service. You will be well organised, knowledgeable in health and safety, calm under pressure, possess strong communication skills, and truly care about the customer's needs. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working in the community, and making sure Islington residents live in high quality, healthy and safe conditions on our estates.
